BTO – On Thursday morning, as many as 99 young soldiers, aging from 12-16, joined the launching ceremony of “Military semester – life skill training” course at the Binh Thuan provincial Children House, which was joint held by the provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the provincial Military Headquarter and the Department of Education and Training.
In addition, those “little soldiers” will continue with the second phrase (June 12th – 14th) in Ho Chi Minh city where they can tour many historic sites (the Tunnel of Cu Chi, the Independence Palace, Ben Duoc temple, etc) and get involved in team-building games, cultural activities, etc.
Addressing the launching event, deputy secretary of the HCYU of Binh Thuan province Le Thi Bich Lien confirmed that “the military semester course is to help the adolescents be familiar with the military environment, get experience, life skills, and more confidences in daily life”.
