BTO- The Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR) lately announced  its plans to operate an increased number of trains in service of passengers during the upcoming April 30 and May 1 holidays.

This year’s Reunification Day and International Labour Day holidays will last up to five days from April 27 to May 1. So people’s demand for travel is expected to be increased.

Apart from the Thong Nhat trains regularly operating for Saigon-Phan Thiet route, there will be additional 130 turns of train between April 24 and May 5. Especially,  the route from Sai Gon to Phan Thiet and vice versa will be served by 4 trains per day.  On April 30 and May 1, the trains coded SPT3 and SPT5 will depart from Phan Thiet at 13h35 and 15h35, respectively (replacing train coded SPT1 which departs at 13h09 on normal days). In the opposite way, train coded SPT4 is expected to depart from Saigon at 7h15 on April 28 while SPT6 will leave Saigon Railways Station for Phan Thiet city at 8h20 on April 27 & 28. Those trains replace SPT2 with the daily departure time at 6h40.
