North-South Expressway project: Binh Thuan leader urges to beef up propaganda

The Eastern section of North-south expressway project passing through Bac Binh district covers a total area of 305.8 hectare and a total length of 42.4 km through 7 communes of Binh Tan (5.2km), Song Luy (4.2km), Song Binh (11.7km), Phan Thanh (1.8km), Hai Ninh (9.6km), Phan Hiep (1.8km) and Phan Hoa (8.1km). However, it easily recognizes that a number of illegal constructions and planting projects have emerged in those days, leaving difficulties for site clearance work.

Consequently, Bac Binh district issued 691 announcements on land recovery to project-affected families and organizations in the district. At the same time, the selection of contractors, consultant units are also stepped up for the slated high-speed road.

In the face of the appearance of illegal planting and constructions, Chairman Hai requested the People’s committee of Bac Binh to intensify propaganda the significance of North-South Expressway project among the community to get their support. Additionally, the supervision and scrutiny should be taken into consideration so that violations shall be handled immediately.
