Deep sense of gratitude towards war-invalids and martyrs on July 27th

BTO – On the occasion of 69th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27th, 1947 -2016), a delegation including Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social affairs (LISA) Huynh Van Ti and director of the Binh Thuan Department of LISA Nguyen Thanh Hong, representatives of Ham Thuan Bac’s People’s Committee visited and offered gifts to policy-favored families and war-invalids in Ham Thuan Bac district. The delegation paid visits to Vietnamese heroic mother Tu Thi Dinh in Phu Long townlet; family of martyr Nguyen Van Quang in Ham Duc commune; wounded soldier Pham Thi Mai in Ham Liem commune.

On the same occasion, the provincial People’s Committee has issued decision to grant a supplementary funding of VND 182 million to the department of LISA and state budgets of town/townlets/districts/city. The amount is set aside for the work in gratitude for contributors to the two resistance wars. Accordingly, 10 districts/town/city are empowered to spend a total expenditure of VND 168 million on paying gratitude to 280 beneficiary households. The Department of Labors, Invalids and Social Affairs is allocated the remaining VND 14 million for the organization of the provincial leaders’ trips to policy-favored households.

The July 27th is the day for young generations and Vietnamese people to pay regards and gratitude to those who had contribution to the national independence.
