With a total length of 6 km, the project aims to meet demands for traveling and ensure traffic safety for the locals and visitors, as well as improve urban space for Binh Thuan’s “capital of resorts”. The combined investment capital of this project (VND 169 billion) is sourced from the central budget allocated for the national target program on tourism development. In order to get enough land area for an extra of 1.5 meters in width of Nguyen Dinh Chieu street, local authorities have implemented land acquisition and compensation for 256 households in the are.
At the construction site, workers and machines are in rush to carry out digging, drainage network installment, granite paving and other items. As of now, over 2,000 meters of road have been finished, accounting for over 28% of the whole project.
As planned, the road section will be completed and handed over on August, 2020. It is expected that this project will contribute to enhancing the image of a civilized and modern Mui Ne-Phan Thiet, deserving as national level tourism area.
