BTO - Binh Thuan has the largest area of dragon fruit in Vietnam with about 30,000 hectares; of which over 9,000 hectares of dragon fruit are met the VietGAP standards, and about 500 hectares are qualified GlobalGAP standards, and eligible to penetrate fastidious markets. The local dragon fruits are granted a geographical indication by the competent authority.
