BTO - Binh Thuan ranks 2nd in terms of national fishery production capacity. Phu Quy island district is connected to major offshore fishing grounds of Vietnam, creating great benefits for the province in developing offshore fisheries. That also requires strengthening the connection between seafood exploitation, supporting fishermen to go out to sea, and protecting island sovereignty.
