BTO – In the Cham language, salad is called “Liba”. Despite its peripheral role in the Cham’s meals, Liba is considered as a significant additive dessert in most banquets of the Cham people. The absence of ‘Liba” can induce the party less fun and appetite. That is the reason why the custom of “Bbang liba” (eating salad) becomes a must-have ritual in Ramuwan festival of the Cham Bani people.
