UAE to buy 900,000 tonnes of VN’s aluminaThe Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Corporation (Vinacomin) signed a contract to supply alumina to Emirates Global Aluminum (EGA) from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 2018-20.

Under the contract, Vinacomin will supply 300,000 tonnes of alumina per year to the EGA for three consecutive years as raw material for the UAE company’s aluminum electrolytic plants.
