The launch is to raise public knowledge of keeping tourism environment. The activities take place continuously at tourist areas luring crowded sightseers and holiday-goers.
The official launching ceremony of “Green Tourism Week” campaign will take place on October 22nd at Nguyen Tat Thanh square, Phan Thiet city with a floral bicycle parade made by the Miss and the two runner-ups of the Miss Ocean Vietnam 2014 together with 30 contestants of the Miss Ocean Vietnam 2017. Those beauties will join the community’s trash clean-up day at some tourist sites.
As many as 140 floral bicycles will go through main streets of Nguyen Tat Thanh, Ton Duc Thang, Vo Van Kiet, Tran Hung Dao and Doi Duong Park. After the parade, the contestants of Miss Ocean Vietnam 2017 will collect garbage at Mui Ne fishing village and flying sand dunes.
