Locals, domestic and international visitors who have chances to visit Binh Thuan on those days, the following schedule is extremely useful to experience and learn more about the local cultures, sightseeing spots, specialties, etc.:
Specifically, special performance of Cham folk arts will be publicly put on stage from October 11-12 at Po Sah Inu Tower. In the meantime, activities in calling for environmental protection will be held at some tourist spots from October 18-25.
On the night of October 20-22, the fourth 4th Binh Thuan tourism singing festival is scheduled to perform at Nguyen Tat Thanh square, Phan Thiet city. Besides, when coming to Phan Thiet city, visitors can enjoy the local specialties at the culinary fair in harmony with folk art shows, lantern displays and “don ca tai tu” (a kind of music and songs of southern Vietnam) performance from October 22-24. Also at the same time, utensils and apparatus for water sports is about to be exhibited at Doi Duong Park – Phan Thiet city from October 22-25.
On the October 23rd alone, various activities take place simultaneously in celebration of the local Tourism Day (October 24th), including rewarding student Ta Hoai Thuong for gaining the prize in the contest “Responsible tourism to the environment”; prize announcing and awarding ceremony of the contest “Binh Thuan Tourism’s Logo creation” and “Singing contest of Binh Thuan tourism”; etc. Especially, the Vietnam Photo Heritage Exhibition will be also kicked off on October 23rd and last until October 25 at Ocean Dunes Hotel.
As for the main day (October 24th), the local Tourism sector will sum up its 2 years of cooperation of “tourism development triangle of Ho Chi Minh city, Lam Dong and Binh Thuan provinces” in combination with photo exhibition of the three localities at Muong Thanh Mui ne Hotel. At 4:00pm, a not-to-miss street parade, themed “Binh Thuan Tourism – 20 years of Integration and Development” will be observed at Nguyen Tat Thanh square and some main streets of Phan Thiet city. Right after that, the major ceremony of 20th anniversary of Binh Thuan Tourism Day is unveiled at 8:00 pm at the same place.
Additionally, many special promotion and sale-off programs, new products and services to pay gratitude to customers are also offered by local travel enterprises and accommodations in response to the Binh Thuan Tourism Day from now till the end of this year.
